Fresh off a weekend with the inauguration of Donald Trump and a Women’s Protest which seemed to be in every major city in the country and a few selected cities around the world, I may need something just to calm my nerves. Yesterday, I got an e-mail from my homie at Def Jam. I opened it and saw a new track from August Alsina called “Drugs”. I thought it was an interesting title so I downloaded it and let it play. In my honest opinion, this song is properly titled. Look for this to be that new red-eye, late night, after the club to the hotel or Netflix and chill track that will set the tone for things to come.

You can look for this on a nightly basis when the station is rocking the latest R&B vibes or at anytime throughout the day. I have a feel this is gonna be a good track for August Alsina.
